Countries with at least 20 clubs. Courts are the ones clubs list: where some clubs list none, the share that do is in brackets, and courts per 100,000 residents appears only where at least 80% do. The price is the median for a court hour at peak time, in the country's own currency. Occupancy is the median of the clubs whose bookings we can read, shown where at least 10 are measured, with their number in brackets.
How big a padel club is
Of the 6,825 clubs bookable online whose courts we know, 64% have between one and four courts. The most common size is 2 courts.

Indoors or outdoors
Of the courts at clubs bookable online whose roof we know, 54% are indoors and 46% outdoors. For 7,378 courts we do not know.

- Outdoors 46%

What others count
Three counts of padel are cited, and each measures something different. Read them side by side and never add or average them: that gives a number nobody measured.
| Source | What it counts | Courts | Clubs | Players |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FIP World Padel Report 2025 | Courts and clubs known to the national federations, whether or not they can be booked online | 77,300 | more than 24,600 | 35 million |
| Playtomic & PwC Strategy&, Global Padel Report 2026 | Courts and clubs on the Playtomic booking platform | 58,300 | about 20,000 | 19.4 million |
| Padelnomics | Clubs we can place, from the booking platforms we read and other club directories, and the courts at the clubs that list them | 28,665 | 8,595 | — |
The federations' count is the widest because it includes clubs no platform lists. Ours is the narrowest for two reasons: we count only clubs we can place and check, in the countries we cover, and only the courts that clubs list, which many do not. The gap between the federations' count and Playtomic's measures how much of padel cannot be booked online.

How we count
- Clubs: every club a booking platform we read has listed in the last 30 days, and every club in another club directory, matched so that each club counts once.
- Courts, sizes and roofs: as the clubs list them. Sizes and roofs are shown for the clubs bookable on a platform we read, where the listing says.
- Occupancy and prices: only from clubs whose bookings we can read. A club that lists its courts on a platform but sells them elsewhere is left out, and a figure for a country needs at least 10 such clubs.
- The page is rebuilt from the data every day; the date at the top says when.
